Satish Steel Works was founded more than 50 years ago and is now one of the India's foremost chain manufacturers. SSW's product line includes, roller conveyor chains, bush conveyor chains and forged link chains & Sprockets along with a full range of fittings and accessories.

SSW also carries out designing and recommendation of Chain Conveyors & Sprockets for its customers. Our engineers analyse the technical requirements before planning and designing the chain assembly. Customised solutions are then worked out in-house in our own Design department. All our chains and components are manufactured in-house. Our chains are manufactured to withstand severe corrosive and abrasive conditions and are used with great confidence due to their Durability, Strength and Performance.
Currently, Satish Steel Works is spread over a combined area of more than 27000 sq. ft. and employs more than 100 people. Our production facilities include equipment such as Power Presses, Forging Presses, CNC Turning Centres, SPM's, Milling machines, welding facilities & state of the art heat treatment facilities etc.

Bushes are made to achieve high wear resistance and are press-fitted to the link plates, or with locating shoulders providing a bearing surface for pin rotation
Rollers are free to rotate over the bushings. When the chain engages with the sprocket, the rollers work as bearings and serve to reduce shock and wear.
When the chain is running on rails or wear strips, the rollers reduce rolling running friction on the chain
Pins are made to exact specifications for high strength, sturdiness and wear resistance and rigidly press-fitted to the link plates.
Pins resist shearing force through chain tension and rotate in the bushings, providing bearing surfaces when the chain articulates over a sprocket.
Link plates are the component part receiving chain tension. The holes for press-fitted pins or bushings are accurately punched to maintain uniform pitch.
